Wonderful! Great food and had some kind of incredible gooey cake with coffee and we swore we'd go back just for that dessert. I'm lucky it's in my neighborhood.

From the moment I smelled the yummy short rib smell to the finished experience spot on. Food: devine. Service: nice. Environment cozy. All in all a wonderful happy hour place. Looking forward to trying out the lager menu in the future.

Great food. Good service. I had carne asada tacos, delicious. My sister had the chili relleno super yummy green sauce! I'd highly recommend this place to eat! The Victoria beer was good.

My first time here, my parents have been talking about it for a while they frequently eat here. I really liked the decor, and our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. We ordered esquites, ceviche, and I ordered the Taco Tuesday special. The esquites was good, ceviche taste fresh and delicious. I enjoyed each of my tacos as well as the rice and beans. I would come back.

Recently moved to the area and had noticed the parking lot always packed (although it does share with other businesses), and looked up the menu to find many yummy sounding dishes. Today we finally made it in and SO glad we did! On Saturdays and Sundays they also have an awesome brunch menu, as well as the standard menu. With 4 of us dining, we all got something different and were all VERY pleased. Some highlights were the Molé sauce, the birria (beyond good), the giant breakfast burrito, the unique twist on the benedict and the flavorful salsa. Another highlight was the EXCELLENT and friendly service provided by Ethan. We will be regulars for sure; great food (all made in-house with fresh ingredients), awesome service and fair prices...we are hooked!!

Amy R is ABSOLUTELY the BEST. She makes the dining experience memorable. Love the plantains and guacamole. Specialty Cocktails are superb

ASK FOR BRITTANY C. to be your waitress. Yesterday marked my 9th visit to the restaurant. Slowly, service and food were getting better. Mind you, they opened shortly just before Covid hit, and we had our first lockdowns. I really wanted to like this place with my very first visit considering we don't have too many original concept restaurants up by where I live. The food was great from our initial order, and as we ordered more and more with every visit, the food and service kept getting better and better. However, yesterday everything was on point. I copied important information on my receipt just to make sure credit goes where it should go. This special review goes to waitress Brittany C, Check #26, Table #42, came in at 5:03PM on 11/9/21. Our waitress gave us exactly what was ordered, and for the first time the meals came out super fast, and food was hot. So shout out not just to Brittany, but also the people in the kitchen that prepped such an amazing meal, and the other employees involved that executed where needed. What stood out to my wife and I was also the fact that our waitress had so much pep and personality. She was friendly, knew what to say to keep engagement, but knew how to keep the conversation lite, so that Brittany could allow my wife and I enjoy our night at the restaurant. There's an art to this. Restaurants and all the employees that run them create an experience for their consumer. It could be a good experience, or a bad one. I feel like we also asked her a lot for things during our visit, and she was always so cheery and positive to make our experience one to remember. As for the food, I tried all the tacos, and the mushroom taco is an absolute must! My wife and I also love their pozole soup dish. For an appetizer we often order the Flautas. Yum! Their Old Fashion drink made with Tequila was also one to remember.

I love the margaritas at Mochilero's. My favorite is the Jalapeño. They have a great happy hour with choices of chips and salsa and other snacks.

Great little Mexican restaurant. We had lunch at this location. The staff are quite friendly. The food was quite good. We had the taco trios and they were very tasty especially the tortillas. We will definitely be back.

As we entered the parking lot for Mochilero Kitchen in Peoria we noticed there were a lot of cars for a Tuesday evening but still a few parking spots to be found. We were welcomed by the hostess when we entered the restaurant and while the inside was quite small they also offered outside dining which was protected from the direct sun with outdoor shades. We opted to sit indoors and once seated we were quickly greeted by our friendly server, Ashlynn. While we didn't partake, as we sat we were presented with an extensive tequila/alcohol menu. Too many tequilas to choose from! We ordered two appetizers plantain chips and guacamole and a full order of brussels sprouts without the peanut sauce variation...just made with light oil. The appetizers arrived within a matter of a few minutes and we were pleased with the serving sizes of each dish. Everything tasted great and the brussels sprouts were crispy...yum! A shout out to our server, Ashlynn, she was very attentive, always refilling our water before the glass was empty. The menu is expansive with many options to choose from. My husband ordered the cochinita pibil and I order the chili negro bowl with short rib. Both dishes were scrumptious and we can't wait to return to try other selections on the menu.
